How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Sales Coordinator – Home Markets insures the smooth flow of operational, administrative, and promotional activities within the designated region. The position will be primarily home-based but will also be called upon from time to time to be present in the Delta-dedicated space within the Home Markets – LON, EDI, DUB, CDG, AMS, BRU if needed. The position reports to the General Manager, Home Markets. Primary duties include but are not limited to: Must have current work authorization to work and reside in the UK at time of application. DELTA DOES NOT SPONSORCoordinating sales team external and internal functions to include selecting venues, contracting vendors, event planning, arranging hotels, guest lists, invitations, etc. Coordinating regional operating budgets to ensure maximum accuracy and tracking of spend.Coordinating regional promotional and e-NCI budgets to insure maximum effectiveness.Coordinating order and delivery of regional sales and promotional collateral material to guarantee ready supplies. Maintaining spaneting fund records to ensure all accounting is accurate and current. Serving as primary regional liaison for all cross commercial departments.Serving as primary regional sales contact for third party vendors and suppliers.Performing complex secretarial and administrative duties from time to time in support of the General Manager – Home Markets and Director of Sales EMEAI if needed.Assisting regional management with travel arrangements and any adhoc needs.Primary liaison with VS/AFKL EA’s at VHQ/CDG/AMS for DL-EJV meeting arrangements.Coordination with applicable ATL EA’s for in-bound HM executive travel/ground needs.Handling of confidential, personnel and business information. Maintaining personnel files, vacation records, and time sheets where applicable. Serving as subject matter expert on regional organizational policies and procedures. Helps refine current or develops new procedures in concert with General Manager where appropriate. Supporting team onboarding/off-boarding needs.Support spanet leisure events and showcases with CVBs.Managing all industry organization memberships such as AmCham, ITM, BAB, NATM to ensure DL receives its return on investment. Review, negotiate and implement sponsorship opportunities and activations in conjunction with sales comm and marcom.Coordinate famils for trade and media including flight bookings and on ground itineraries.Follow up on sales support and consumer affairs enquiries.Managing and coordinating DL Sales CSR activities within the Home Markets.Manage adhoc project work as needed across the EMEAI region.Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and administrative skills. The candidate will possess strong interpersonal, problem solving, project management and decision-making skills. Self-motivation and high commitment to accuracy are essential. The candidate must be strong in both written and verbal communication. They must be comfortable in interacting with all levels of management. The candidate must be able to anticipate issues and pro-actively design solutions. They must be a strong team player and advocate for both internal clients and consumers alike. The Individual must be able to learn quickly and be able to work under pressure to complete last minute tasks. Proficiency in primary applications: MS Word, Excel, Windows Explorer, Microsoft Internet Explorer, PowerPoint, and Delta Term is essential. Experience with Delta Finance Applications is desirable - Expense processing systems such as CONCUR, e-NCI, equity card program is equally desirable. A secondary education diploma is required.The candidate must be performing satisfactorily in their present position. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
