Synopsis
The Manager Joint Ventures plays a key coordinating role in managing the development and execution of EY’s airline joint ventures and partnerships from a sales and distribution perspective. Working under the direction of Manager Joint Venture & Partnership Management, the Manager contributes in the implementation of new partnerships, supports integration activities, and manages the ongoing enhancement of existing collaborations in alignment with EY’s Sales strategy.
Accountabilities
- Manage day-to-day operational and administrative tasks related to strategic JV/Partnerships.
- Coordinate and track integration projects to ensure alignment with EY’s commercial objectives.
- Oversee the development and operation of systems and processes to support JV requirements, with a focus on sales readiness and compliance.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of commercial cooperation between EY and JV partners by supporting efforts in process alignment, integration, and identifying sales-related synergies.
- Coordinate Sales-related activities across JV/Partnership and Alliance topics by liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders as directed.
- Collaborate closely with JV Steering Manager to drive sales performance and ensure delivery against JV/Partnership KPIs.
- Support field sales teams in managing JV/Partnership complexities and ensuring smooth integration into daily workflows.
- Supports communication efforts within the JV/Partnership framework, ensuring regular, structured updates with Sales partners and preparing briefings, presentations, and documentation for panels, working groups, and decision-making forums.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related fields required. Master’s degree or relevant is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in commercial aviation, airline partnerships or Global sales.
- Experience in managing JVs, alliances, or strategic partnerships, preferably across international markets.
- Experience leading or supporting project coordination, including cross-functional integration efforts and implementation of commercial strategies.
- Strong background in working with field sales teams and understanding of distribution models, sales structures, and performance metrics.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and international environments, ideally within the airline or travel industry, with the ability to work independently. Cultural awareness & understanding required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, charts, basic analysis), PowerPoint (presentation creation).
- Strong proficiency of data analysis tools or reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), with experience Revenue Management Decision support tools a plus.
