Job Outline:

• The job holder is the Assistant Shift Supervisor responsible for co-ordination security actions in the handling supervision of international Cargo and flight operation to ensure International Security Program are implemented . He will organise, monitor, and supervise security activities in his shift in the absence of the incumbent. His duty is self-terminating and reverts back as Snr security warden upon assumption of duty of the Shift Supervisor

• To report immediately, with complete and all details, to the Security Supervisors & Security Manager regarding any/all unlawful or potentially unlawful interference against/towards the aircraft, operations, passengers, staff, station and any other issue/matter in the benefit of the company. Also, to monitor and report nefarious/malafide activities involving staff, staff of GHA and cargo agents/shippers.

• Ensure that all cargo is screened by security service providers and take record of all general/ express cargo, valuable cargo/shipments. To monitor, control and report any nefarious activities or untoward incident committed or being committed at cargo terminal and other areas of the airport.

• Escorting of Inbound/Outbound Cargo during movement from Import/Export to Ramp & Escorting of Inbound/Outbound VAL /VUN/MUW/MUX consignments.


• Maintain effective coordination and monitoring of all security services provided by contracted security agencies at the station, ensuring deployment and billing is done as per agreed contracts. 

Ensuring all cargo screening requirements should be fulfilled according to the NCASP, TSA/EU & GCAA requirements that procedure are being followed.

Escorting of Inbound/Outbound Cargo during movement from Import/Export to Ramp and  Inbound/Outbound VAL /VUN/MUW/MUX consignments. Ensure arrival / Departure Baggage build-up/segregation area/Bulk Hold 05 monitoring and Inbound/Outbound baggage from ramp to segregation Baggage forwarding and escorting of AHL bags (only staff with access to INT DEP/ARR)

Ensure Guarding of Aircraft access points i.e. RAMP and Cabin Doors, access to aircraft is only allowed for valid reasons along with valid company IDs and AEP.

Knowledge/Skills:
The job holder must be educated to higher secondary level, and have at least four (4) years military
/police experience or security background in Airline Industry. Or alternatively, this would be a person who
has worked as a Security Warden for a minimum of 1 year.

Ability to read, write, speak English with high degree of proficiency and be able to interact with staff
members and the public alike.

Experience with computers is an advantage

He must have a driving- licence to be able to use company vehicle inside or outside Cargo Village.

The candidate must hold a screening certification from Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.

The candidate must have a right to work and live in Pakistan.
