Responsibilities
We are seeking an entry-level Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of electronic units (LRUs) using approved procedures, tools, and test equipment. The successful candidate will accurately document all work within the company control system while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in electronics, engineering, or mechanical assembly who is looking to build a long-term technical career. Full training will be provided, enabling you to develop hands-on skills in testing, fault diagnosis, calibration, and repair within a supportive and professional environment.
Accurately record repair activities, parts usage, test results, and discrepancies within the company management system.
Assemble and install electronic and mechanical components using techniques such as soldering, crimping, fastening, and bonding (full training provided).
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment while adhering to all quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Recognized technical qualification or relevant experience.
- Demonstrable experience in an electronic systems repair environment.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to interpret and follow engineering documentation, maintenance manuals, work instructions, and technical procedures.
Familiarity with common electronic test equipment, including multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes, gained through education, training, or practical experience.
Willingness to develop skills in testing, calibration, fault diagnosis, and repair through structured training.
Effectively communicate with shop supervision, Engineering and Quality departments to solve technical repair problems.
- Ability to travel up to 10-20 of the time to domestic and/or international locations.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
- Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.
- May receive detailed instructions on work.
