Press Brake Operator
Location: Burnley
Type: 12-Month Rolling Contract
Hours: 37 Hours/Week (Monthly Days/Nights Rotation)
Pay:

• PAYE: 15.74/hr + 2.29/hr holiday pay

• Umbrella: 21.01/hr

Morson is currently recruiting an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our Aerospace Manufacturing client at their facility in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a precision engineering environment as part of a team dedicated to producing high-quality sheet metal components for the aerospace sector.

• Operate Trumpf/Ursviken Press Brake machinery and editing software

• Interpret master layouts and work instruction sheets (WIS) to ensure accurate and compliant production

• Prepare and form sheet metal parts of varying sizes and complexity to exact specifications

• Adhere to company Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

• Collaborate with colleagues to meet quality and delivery targets

• Experience operating press brake machinery (preferably Trumpf or Ursviken)

• Ability to read and interpret technical layouts and work instructions

• Strong manual dexterity and spatial awareness

• Able to work independently and within a small team to meet production targets

• Basic computer literacy

• Previous experience in aerospace or a similar high-spec manufacturing environment

• GCSE Grade C or above in Maths, English, and Science
