Make an Impact Supporting Advanced Aircraft OperationsPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Flight Readiness Technician to support a major aerospace program in San Antonio. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring aircraft readiness by performing installation, testing, maintenance, and inspection activities that directly support safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

What You’ll Do- Install aircraft interior components including galley monuments, lavatories, sidewalls, stow bins, strong backs, and galley mats.
- Perform troubleshooting and operational checks on aircraft Inflight Entertainment Systems (IFE).
- Support pre?flight FOD inspections through cabin cleaning and preparation.
- Perform maintenance, rework, repair, and modification activities on aircraft interiors.
- Utilize skills in interior repair, including paint (filling, blending, color matching), composite repair, sealing, FDA seal application, and decorative laminate replacement.
- Apply specialized skills such as oxygen mask packing and passenger entry door rigging.
- Conduct pre?flight and post?flight checks and support system/sub-system pre?delivery inspections.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies during system testing and operations.
- Plan and arrange daily activities independently with oversight upon completion to ensure objectives are met.
- Maintain consistent, reliable attendance and uphold high safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications- Ability to work a variable shift if needed.
- Minimum 6 months of interiors removal and installation experience.
- Minimum 6 months working with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
- Minimum 6 months of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk awareness/experience.
- Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED and 1+ year of related experience, or equivalent education/technical training (e.g., vocational school/Associate degree).
Preferred Qualifications- 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
- Experience supporting the 787 program.
- Familiarity with production systems and flight line operations.
- Experience performing field or flight line maintenance.

Pay Details: $37.63 per hour
