Job Title: Environmental Service WorkerJob DescriptionUnder close supervision with detailed instructions, the Environmental Service Worker is responsible for maintaining building, ground, and office areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. The role involves performing a combination of routine duties including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing.
Responsibilities- Clean assigned areas according to established standards.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum offices, hallways, and entrances.
- Polish furniture, fixtures, or trimmings.
- Report items needing repair and hazardous conditions requiring correction to supervisor.
- Follow established antiseptic techniques and use appropriate solutions to clean and wash fixtures and restrooms.
- Gather and dispose of trash. Wash waste containers.
- Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Clean carpets if required.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Essential Skills- At least 6 months of janitorial experience in a commercial space.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and solutions.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently.
- Valid drivers license as may be required to drive a golf cart or company vehicle.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizenship is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.

Work EnvironmentThe position is located at the Torrey Pines facility, which comprises office spaces with no manufacturing. The work schedule is the 2nd shift from 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM, following a 9/80 schedule with no overtime required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
