PAL Airlines is looking for an In-Flight Standards Supervisor with a passion for safety and customer service to join our award-winning team in St. John’s, NL!

Responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement through audits and observations.
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of inflight standards across all bases
  • Ensure onboard service consistently reflects the company’s brand promise, values, and customer commitments
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., Transport Canada, AOHS, etc.).
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and uniform guidelines.
  • Investigate and respond to internal and external feedback about Flight Attendant performance. Participate in passenger feedback including surveys, complaints, compliments, and service difficulty reports
  • Follow up with Flight Attendants on inflight operational reports, questions and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to flight attendants to support skill development and performance consistency.
  • Collaborate with Training and Cabin Safety Management to enhance course content, service procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Support annual, initial, and supplemental training programs as required.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for service and safety procedures.
  • Deliver clear, constructive, and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of flight attendant experience, preferably with demonstrated leadership, coaching, or training responsibilities.
  • Strong customer‑first mindset.
  • Strong understanding of in-flight operations, safety procedures, and service standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must operate as a Flight Attendant to maintain qualification, for training purposes or operational requirements.
  • Experience in training, quality assurance, or inflight leadership support roles would be considered a preferred asset.
  • Previous auditing or coaching certification would be considered an asset.
