UAM provides expert support for Cornerstone Aviation, Utah's most prestigious flight school. We’re looking for a DOM to lead the support effort for our 24-aircraft training fleet, as well as to repair outside customer aircraft. The aircraft we work on range from single engine trainers to multi-engine turbines, but the focus is on Cessna 172s, 182s, 340s, 421s, and Cirrus SR-22s.
Working hours are stable and predictable, but can be flexible to adapt to your personal schedule. We make allowances for flight training, school, or the needs of your family. Evening and weekend work is available, but not required. Overtime is available, but never required.

The Director:
- Plans, coordinates, and controls all maintenance operations to ensure the highest-possible safe aircraft dispatch availability and reliability.
- Performs maintenance activities in accordance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance technical publications.
- Oversees all aspects of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Ensures the safety of fellow employees and flight students by enforcing OSHA standards and industry best practices.
- Promotes high morale, efficiency, and safety by maintaining safe and clean spaces.
- Directs required training and documentation for maintenance personnel.
- Ensures the accuracy, counts, and security of tools and equipment.
- Supervises third-party maintenance to ensure the vendors’ contractual compliance.
- Provides leadership for subordinate managers and supervisors by establishing, assigning, prioritizing and tracking aviation maintenance goals, objectives and standards.
- Provides mentorship of interns, apprentices, and junior technicians.
