Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred, and five (5) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted for the degree requirement.
- If internal, minimum of 18 months in current position.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience within Project Management
- Must have minimum of 2 years with proven experience leading projects with an associated credential such as Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge of design-based software and content management applications.
- Knowledge of classroom, flight simulator and aircraft training techniques and procedures.
- Expected to strive for Project Management excellence and lead internal initiatives for improvement
- Skills in managing on-time, on-budget deliverables against project scope.
- Skills in courseware design and technical writing.
- Skills in leading diverse employee groups to complete projects using onsite and remote collaboration tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, including ability to interact with all levels of management in a professional manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.
- Ability to read and interpret OEM and technical documents, contracts, and drawings.
- Ability to drive, obtain passport and occasionally travel to support fleetwide programs.
- Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications; able to speak, understand, read, and write.
