The Mission Systems Phantom Works organization has an exciting opportunity for a Core Avionics First Line Manager to be part of a development proprietary program located in Berkeley, MO.
This position will directly report to the Core Avionics Senior Manager within Mission Systems on a Phantom Works Proprietary Program.

Core Avionics has responsibility, accountability, and authority (RAA) for Communications, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) systems, Core Processing, Crew Systems, Countermeasures, and Stores Management. Dependent on candidate’s background, this candidate will lead one or several of the RAA’s within Core Avionics.
Position Responsibilities:
Technical oversite of Development, MOTS, COTS, and system architecture.
Manages team members performing engineering and technical activities in the areas within Core Avionics.
Mentors and coaches all levels of engineers providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of leaders and engineers.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Provides specific guidance to team members to ensure effective performance.
Builds relationships to gain support and commitment from others, promotes ideas with enthusiasm and conviction.
Forecasts resource needs and hire/develop appropriate personnel to meet project and daily operating requirements.
Responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of complex projects
Cost Account Manager for Core Avionics
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
