Charter Services Manager - Calgary, AB (YYC)
Job Description:

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven professional to join our team as Charter Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment supporting our Charter and Corporate Air Service Solutions.

In this role, you will be entrusted with leading day-to-day commercial execution, supporting business development initiatives, and managing key client relationships. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, overseeing charter programs and corporate accounts, and leading a team to deliver proactive, high-quality service.

Job Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Actively support revenue growth through Cargo, Charter Sales, Corporate Group Travel on our
    Scheduled Services, and Hybrid Air Service solutions.

  • Review, prioritize, and guide all inbound commercial inquiries to maximize conversion.

  • Identify and pursue new Cargo, Charter and Corporate travel opportunities.

  • Support outbound business development efforts including Corporate Outreach, Account Development, identification of repeat and contract opportunities, and monitor market activity.

Client Management

  • Support the DCS in relationship management of Cargo, Charter and Corporate clients.

  • Conduct regular client meetings and performance reviews including month end reporting.

  • Prepare and deliver client reporting on operational performance, reliability, and service delivery.

  • Resolve client concerns proactively, with a focus on long-term relationship value.

  • Build long-term relationships through proactive communication and problem solving, while identifying opportunities to expand client engagement for both Charter and Scheduled Services.

Charter Program Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day execution of Charter Programs to ensure service delivery.

  • Monitor program performance, including on-time performance (OPT), service quality, and operational reliability.

  • Identify operational trends or problem areas and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure all completed charter flights are reviewed and prepared for prompt invoicing, providing Finance
    with accurate flight details and documentation to support timely billing.

Representation and Reporting

  • Represent the Charter Services department in internal operational meetings and cross-departmental planning.

  • Prepare internal reports summarizing Charter Program performance, revenue trends, and operational metrics.

  • Produce monthly client performance reports and presentations.

  • Support leadership with strategic analysis of Charter Program performance and opportunities for growth.

Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of Commercial Accounts.

  • Support onboarding, training, and development of staff within the Charter Services department.

  • Set expectations for Pipeline management, response times, and client engagement standards.

  • Foster a collaborative working relationship with Operations, Dispatch, Maintenance, Finance, and Inflight teams.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Aviation Charter Services, airline commercial operations, or Business Development.

  • French speaking considered an asset.

  • Experience managing client relationships and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic operational environment.
