As Sheet Metal Technician, each day will bring new experiences and opportunities for growth. You will need to have a basic to advanced knowledge of turbine aircraft structures, reading blueprints, working from drawings, fastening systems, procedures and techniques. You many also be required to help supervise crews and assist in organizing manpower and setting priorities for involved projects.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
- Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components.
- Application and removal of sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
- Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required.
- Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases.
- Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.
- Any other job-related duties assigned by supervisor or management.
What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education:
A High school diploma or equivalent, and Airframe and Powerplant License is preferred.
A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
Your Experience:
Prior experience working with sheet metal is preferred.

Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.

Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
Maintain customer-oriented work habits.
