About the RoleAs a Maintenance Technician, you are the backbone of plant reliability and performance. In this hands-on role, you ensure critical production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and without interruption. You’ll diagnose complex issues, perform repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and directly support continuous production in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Your work directly impacts uptime, safety, and overall plant productivity—making you a key player in operational success.
What You’ll Do Day-to-DayIn this role, you’ll be trusted to take ownership of equipment health and performance. Your responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Supervise and guide operators on proper equipment use and safety practices
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment
Lead and support equipment overhaul planning and execution
Recommend spare parts inventory and assist with purchasing strategies
Monitor equipment performance and implement cost-effective maintenance solutions
Conduct routine inspections to identify and eliminate safety risks and hidden hazards
Support installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of new equipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain production efficiency
Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and crane systems
Required & Preferred QualificationsMust-Have Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and electrical systems
Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and maintenance procedures
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
1–2 years of forklift maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment (lift 50–75 lbs, stand for extended periods)
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in an industrial setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience repairing production or heavy industrial equipment
Knowledge of hydraulic systems is a strong plus
Familiarity with equipment overhaul processes and procedures
Understanding of industrial power mechanical systems and their operation

Position DetailsLocation: Sealy, TX 77474
Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Monday–Friday, possible Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $18/hr. (based on experience)
Type: Temp-to-hire with strong potential for direct hire and advancement

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
