Job Description

The Aircraft Structural Technician will perform classified heavy modifications on various fixed wing military aircraft, specifically focusing on C-130 and P-3 airframes. This role involves working with cutting-edge technology to support our mission to protect the American warfighter.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy modifications on military aircraft including C-130 and P-3 airframes.
• Work with sheet metal fabrication and repair using tools such as rivet guns.
• Conduct depot level maintenance and aviation heavy maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints for aviation modification tasks.
• Engage in aircraft maintenance repair and riveting tasks.

• Must own tools with the toolbox shadowed and tools etched or colored by Day 1.
• Pass a sheet metal test on Day One, with potential pay increase for high scores.
• Minimum of 6+ years of aviation structures experience for military background or 4+ years if including civilian experience.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• FAA Drug Test and 7 Year Background Check compliance.

Work Environment

Work within a climate-controlled FAA regulated hangar. Shift options include four 10-hour shifts either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, with flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shifts as needed. Regular opportunities for overtime, though not guaranteed weekly.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
