Job Title: Aircraft InspectorJob DescriptionThis role involves conducting quality assurance inspections in commercial and government hangars, focusing primarily on heavy maintenance projects for various types of general aviation and corporate aircraft. The position demands 80 of the time spent in hangars performing inspections and collaborating with technicians, with the remaining 20 dedicated to ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance inspections on a variety of general aviation and corporate aircraft in commercial hangars.
- Perform heavy maintenance checks on a fleet of Dornier 328 intelligence aircraft in government hangars.
- Collaborate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate inspections.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and tracking of inspections.
Essential Skills- Possession of an A&P License.
- Previous experience with corporate aircraft or general aviation aircraft.
- Prior experience as a QA Inspector on any type of aircraft.
- Stable job history in aviation maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Heavy Maintenance experience on Bombardier Business Jets, Challengers, Globals, Hawkers, Gulfstreams, King Airs.
- Being by-the-book with extreme attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with technicians.

Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $50.00/hr.
