Global Aerospace Logistics is currently looking for a skilled Workshop Technician – Powertrain to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will assist the Powertrain Supervisor in performing unit and intermediate maintenance inspections, servicing, and repairs on all aircraft powertrain systems and subsystems. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced aviation professional, especially those with experience on the AH-64 Apache platform.
Responsibilities:
- Remove, replace, and maintain powertrain quills, transmission adapting parts, rotary wing hubs, and tanks.
- Disassemble and service friction dampers and hanger assemblies.
- Disassemble, repair, reassemble, adjust, balance, and align powertrain components, including main and tail rotor hub assemblies.
- Apply corrosion prevention procedures to all powertrain components.
- Clean, preserve, and store powertrain parts according to standards.
- Maintain proper facilities for storage of flammable and hazardous materials.
- Requisition aircraft parts and maintain shop and bench stock for repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft powertrain systems and subsystems.
- Inspect and prepare maintenance forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
- Train host nation personnel on proper maintenance procedures.
