We are seeking a highly skilled AOG Maintenance Technician to provide rapid-response support for our fleet, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, thrives in high-pressure situations, and is comfortable working independently while traveling to remote locations.
This is a full-time position based in the Orlando, Florida area. Candidates must reside locally and be available to travel as needed.
Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday 8:00am - 6:30 pm or Wednesday-Saturday 8:00 am-6:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to AOG situations primarily within Florida and a 5-hour driving radius, traveling in company vehicles or occasionally flying to aircraft.
- Provide rapid, unscheduled maintenance and return-to-service inspections in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and avionics issues under time-sensitive conditions.
- Accurately document all maintenance actions in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- When not traveling for AOG response, work a scheduled shift in the Orlando hangar performing routine and unscheduled maintenance.
- Collaborate with pilots, dispatch, and maintenance control to minimize downtime and maximize aircraft availability.
- Maintain readiness with proper tools, equipment, and travel documentation to deploy quickly.
- Overtime may be required based on operational demands.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- FAA A&P Certification (required)
- 2+ years of experience working on Learjet, Bombardier, or other business aircraft (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Honeywell engines (highly valued)
- Strong knowledge of FAA Part 91/135 maintenance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Proficiency with maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and computerized maintenance tracking systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments in variable weather conditions
- Flexibility to travel on short notice, including nights, weekends, and holidays (travel expectations are included in base salary; no additional on-call pay)
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and passport
Education and Experience:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification (Required)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience on Lear/Bombardier or comparable business jets (Preferred)
- Honeywell engine experience highly valued
