Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Shifts:
Day Shift: Mon Thu, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Night Shift: Mon Thu, 1:30 p.m. 11:00 p.m. ($3/hr shift differential)
Overtime: Average of 10 hours/week

Summary:
We are seeking experienced Composite Technicians for aerospace manufacturing work in a cleanroom environment.
Perform tasks including inspection, layup, lamination, bonding, and use of tools like laser projectors, autoclaves, ovens, and hydraulic presses.
Attention to detail and experience with pre-preg and wet layup techniques are essential.
Perform complex layup and lamination of composite materials, including wet layup and pre-preg in clean room environments
Assemble, locate, drill, and bond parts following engineering blueprints and manufacturing specs
Inspect work for quality and compliance to work instructions and engineering standards
Operate autoclaves, ovens, and hydraulic presses to complete bonding cycles
Prepare tools and surfaces using sealing resins and solvents
Utilize shop math and precision measuring instruments
Support production flow and help train and mentor team members
Perform minor maintenance of assigned machines/tools
Requirements (Must be Clearly Listed on Resume):
Minimum 5 years of experience in composite layup (pre-preg)
Aerospace industry experience required
Pre-preg inspection experience
Solid and consistent work history (Manager prefers: 6 12 months minimum per employer, repeat contracts with same clients)
Wet layup and complex pre-preg inspection
Lamination, vacuum bagging, tool prep, and laser projection
Bonding, bodywork, and dry fabric layup
Cleanroom practices
Reading and interpreting blueprints, charts, and sketches
Operating bonding equipment (autoclave, ovens, hydraulic presses)
Application of sealing resins and process documentation
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
