Air Borealis is currently seeking a Cargo Agent to join our team in Goose Bay, NL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to Transport Canada Regulations
- Respond to cargo inquiries
- Provide to cargo inquiries
- Provide freight quotes
- Accept small freight, issuing waybills and handling cargo
- Provide internal and external customer support
- Manage cargo supplies and inventory
- Process cargo for shipping based on customer needs
- Perform general office duties as required
- Operate forklift
- Operate delivery van
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years&39; experience in providing customer service in a fast-paced environment;
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills;
- Must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent problem solving skills as this position requires on the spot decision making;
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment;
- Must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct.
- Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
