Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, safely packing, rotating, and inspecting products with a high level of attention to detail to ensure safe transportation and storage. You will also process goods into the warehouse and package goods for both domestic and international shipments.
Responsibilities
- Accurately, consistently, and safely follow directions for selecting products from pick tickets or storing new products in a detailed aviation parts warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
- Perform accurate inventorying, identifying, and selecting small, specific parts from inventory locations while fulfilling data entry requirements into the Warehouse Management System.
- Pick, palletize, wrap, and scan orders using FIFO (First in First out) method.
- Hand stack products in specific sequences and locations for shipment both domestically and internationally.
- Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
- Return undelivered or mis-picked products to their proper inventory locations.
- Transport products from storage areas to designated shipping areas within expected time frames.
- Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.
- Observe safe product handling techniques while cooperating with supervisors and peers.
- Adhere to the companys attendance policy by arriving on time and completing shifts as scheduled.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as required.
- Engage in 5S and lean activities as directed by warehouse management.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in picking and packing, especially within an aviation parts environment.
- Proven ability to operate powered equipment including electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and assorted Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Ability to identify part numbers and store items accordingly.
- Competency in reading, writing, communicating, and comprehending English for tasks such as reading labels, pick lists, scanners, and signage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Zebra scanners is a plus.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, sitting, walking, twisting, lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory from shelves.
- Regular lifting requirements between 20 to 100 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to pass compliance and drug test requirements.
- Preferred experience in a warehouse environment for at least 1 year.
- Previous work in an aviation maintenance or parts warehouse is preferred.

Work Environment
The warehouse is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment. The facility is new and features a nice break room. Shifts run from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
