Elevate Aerospace Excellence from the Ground UpPDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Quality Receiving Inspector for a full-time, 12-month consulting role in Medley, FL. As a critical player in the aerospace supply chain, you’ll ensure incoming and finished components meet the highest standards for precision, safety, and compliance.
Your attention to detail will directly support mission-critical operations, helping keep aircraft—and the people who depend on them—safe and airborne.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What You’ll DoPerform first article inspections and detailed evaluations of incoming parts and finished products
Visually and dimensionally inspect components using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Interpret and verify blueprints, BOMs, and technical specs for compliance
Document inspection results with a high degree of technical accuracy
Identify and escalate non-conforming materials through quality notifications
Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve discrepancies
Use SAP and other operating systems for data input and inspection traceability
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
High school diploma or AA/AS degree (or 2 years of post-high school technical training)
Minimum of 2 years relevant quality inspection experience
Ability to pass a color/vision test
Competent in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
Basic computer skills and familiarity with systems like SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and coating specifications
Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages
Experience documenting and resolving inspection-related issues
Ability to work independently and contribute to a quality-first culture

Pay Details: $25.72 per hour
