JOB SUMMARY:
This internship focuses on 5S and hangar-floor Lean initiatives within MLB Operations. The intern will perform hangar-floor observations and document workflow inefficiencies using Lean/Industrial Engineering tools (e.g., 5S audits, spaghetti diagrams, time/travel observations).
The role will develop floor plan and point-of-use (POU) recommendations to reduce travel, searching, and staging constraints, and will support implementation of visual management and 5S improvements.
- MINIMUM REQUIERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a university program.
- Proficient in the use Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Ability to be creative and make sound judgments while working independently on multiple projects.
