Description:You will be the RF Engineer & Training Developer – ACURL, F-35 Combat Data Systems Joint Reprogramming Enterprise.
Join our team supporting customers at Eglin Air Force Base as an RF Engineer within the Australia Canada United Kingdom Reprogramming Laboratory (ACURL), part of the Combat Data Systems Joint Reprogramming Enterprise. Our team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the technical capabilities of ACURL, ensuring the lab is fully operational to support mission-critical reprogramming efforts for our international partners.
What You Will Be Doing:
As an RF Engineer & Training Developer, you will not only be responsible for system integration, anomaly resolution, operational test and verification activities within ACURL but also for learning and documenting critical processes to develop a robust training program for future engineers. You will collaborate with technical teams to support lab upgrades, optimize RF system performance, conduct formal and operational testing, and ensure compliance with evolving mission requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Learning & Documentation – Acquire deep knowledge of ACURL operations, document procedures, and create structured learning materials for technical teams.
• Training Development – Develop and implement a comprehensive training program, including instructional guides, technical documentation, and hands-on training modules to ensure knowledge retention and operational continuity.
• System Integration & Upgrades – Oversee installation, setup, and acceptance testing for ACURL upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and operational excellence.
• Requirements Reviews & Technical Analysis – Participate in System Requirements Reviews and Supplier Technical Reviews to ensure efficiency and compliance with mission objectives.
• Configuration & Verification Management – Manage System Configuration Controls and System Requirements Verification processes within ACURL.
• Cross-Team Collaboration – Engage with lab Project and Technical Leadership, as well as cross-functional teams, to maintain an effective engineering communication interface across lab subsystems, incorporating training initiatives for sustained technical proficiency.
• This role is ideal for a technical or training professional eager to master RF engineering in ACURL and translate that expertise into impactful training resources that strengthen the knowledge base of current and future engineers.

• STEM Bachelors Degree
• Training Development and Delivery experience
Desired Skills:
• Curriculum development and teaching experience in STEM related field.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
