Description:You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team, leading a Quality Team that drives excellence in product and process quality. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, and you will play a key role in managing a team of quality professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will lead a team that applies quality principles in design, production control, and product evaluation. You will perform technical evaluations, collaborate with program management and customers on quality-related issues, and engage in product failure investigations and corrective action development.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Managing a team of quality professionals who apply quality principles in areas such as design, production control, and product evaluation
-Performing technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs
-Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality-related issues
-Engaging in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive action development
-Ensuring corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and compliance with requirements
-Developing strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity
-Evaluating quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
-Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes and mechanisms

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-STEM degree at Bachelor level or higher OR equivalent experience / combined education.

-Experienced Leader in Quality Assurance Processes, Practices and Procedures related to DOD contracts.

-Skilled in driving the development and implementation of process improvements and quality systems in manufacturing environments.

-Strong interpersonal skills that promote teamwork across multiple functions and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
Desired Skills:
-Degree in an engineering discipline at bachelors level or higher preferred.

-ASQ Certified Quality Manager.

-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.

-Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt certification.

-Experience in Quality Control environment of manufacturing facility.

-Strong understanding and working knowledge of MFC SAP and Apriso functions relative to the MRB process and the processing of hardware through the manufacturing and inspection steps in a factory environment.

-Advanced knowledge of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management Systems.

-Experience with the manufacture ad testing of electronic assemblies and components such as printed wire boards, wiring harnesses, and circuit card assemblies.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
