Description:You will be the Project Engineer Staff - Operations Transformation and Affordability which will includes software engineering and programming aspects for our site. This person will be responsible for collaborating with other sites and finding ways to make us more affordable while implementing new technologies.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for managing projects whether by an outside vendor, Corporate aid, or self directed. You will responsible for developing Statements of Work, leading developing new technologies that help identify variability, and finding ways to eliminate the system variability by means of software or programming new technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
• Software programming
• Developing Human Interfaces for our systems
• Expanding their knowledge about new technology and develop ideas to implement at our site
• Managing capital planning activities and the acquisition of manufacturing equipment which includes software
• Coordinating and supervising continuous improvement activities with additional functional groups

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledgeable of programming and software processes including building HMI screens and the architecture of control systems.
Experience with a manufacturing environment and what it takes to make production successful.
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
