JOB SUMMARY
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the A220 Wing Engineering team in Belfast. You will be joining a collaborative team of structural engineers, technical specialists and engineering leads, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for Airbus Wing products. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, we offer a supportive environment for both technical and personal development. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
Lead the technical scope of F&DT projects, providing guidance to engineers and suppliers, and liaising with key stakeholders including Chief Engineers and Technical Authorities.
Define and update certification methods for Outer Wing structures, ensuring compliance and innovation.
Approve F&DT deliverables and resolve technical issues using appropriate analysis techniques.
Act as a focal point for Wing-related F&DT matters across engineering and airworthiness teams.
Support the development of team members and contribute to the modernisation and digital transformation of our products and processes.
ABOUT YOU
Experienced in structural engineering with a strong background in fatigue and damage tolerance Analysis.
Solid understanding of aircraft structural design principles and analytical techniques.
Clear and adaptable communicator, able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proactive and innovative, with the ability to step back and propose new ideas.
Committed to acting with integrity, supporting Airbus&39; values and long-term success.
