The Customer Service Agent will report to the Airport Supervisor - Guyana. The selected candidate will assist in developing, promoting and enhancing the company’s image and reputation by providing prompt, efficient and courteous customer service in passenger handling activities at the check-in counters, departure gates and arrival halls. This is a fixed term contract role.

- Customer Service: Continuously seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers by placing a keen interest on understanding and effectively resolving issues in a professional and result-oriented manner.
- Operational Effectiveness: Effectively and efficiently utilizes assigned resources, towards ensuring that customer service and on-time performance standards are achieved.
- Reporting: Delivers accurate operational reports in accordance with pre-established timelines.
- Compliance: Actively supports the advancement of the organization’s safety and quality culture, through compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You must have a minimum of five (5) CXC O Level passes, including Mathematics and English. You will possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar customer service role, preferably in the airline industry, with demonstrated proficiency in MS Office. Competence and experience in using a Computerized Reservations System an asset.
You must have a strong customer service orientation and be willing to work shift hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess the ability to exercise judgement and initiative and work well under pressure.
The successful candidate must be legally authorised to work in Guyana
