The Technical Operations Coordinator’s primary role is to provide operational and administrative support to the Technical Operations management team across various departments, including hangar/ramp, GSE, engineering, Maintenance Control Center (MCC), stores, and the Quebec (YQB) base.
The person in this position is responsible for carefully managing staff schedules in AMOS to ensure consistent and efficient assignment of timesheets in UKG. They also handle various administrative and operational tasks.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Manage team and schedule changes, including long-term planning.
- Create and update new shifts based on operational needs.
- Collaborate with the management team on timesheet monitoring and payroll closure.
- Resolve issues related to schedules or timesheets.
- Participate in continuous improvement meetings related to UKG/AMOS and other systems, in collaboration with the IT team and management, as required.
- Actively manage employee vacation scheduling files – Production.
- Create step-by-step procedures aimed at improving processes.
- Coordinate YUL M-Actions and short-term out-of-base operations for YQB.
- Coordinate long-term out-of-base operations, as required.
Management of Specific Administrative Files
- Via the Concur application: ensure the approval of expense reports.
- Oversee uniform files and approve orders.
- Via the SAP application: process purchase requests for Hangar and GSE.
- Monitor workforce data (hangar and ramp) and related HR files.
- Coordinate training files (standard courses).
- Produce union release reports.
Artificial intelligence tools are used to analyze applications, whether to sort or preselect profiles based on criteria related to job requirements. All applications are then reviewed by our recruitment team to ensure a fair and inclusive process.
