In this role you will perform General Accounting and other related duties involving the Financial Accounting function, including General Ledger maintenance, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, and Financial Statement preparation and analysis.

Your Challenges:

General Accounting, AR, AP Processing and Reconciliations 50

  • Review daily bank activity and prepare monthly reconciliations of bank statements

  • Reconcile key general ledger accounts such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.

  • Perform monthly reconciliation and reporting of intercompany payables with affiliate companies

Administer General Ledger Activity, Chart of Accounts, and posting of Journal Entries as part of the Monthly Close process 20

  • Responsible for Journal Entry activity during Monthly Close process, including subsystems interface with General Ledger

  • Perform proper recording and periodic amortization of Prepaid Expenses

  • Ensure proper accounting for Payroll-related and Benefits Accounts, including General Ledger interface with ADP Payroll System

  • Maintain General Ledger master data, including establishing of GL Accounts

Prepare Monthly Financial Statements and Financial Reporting Packages 20

  • Prepare internal Monthly Financial Reporting package for review with Management

  • Ensure Financial Statements are in accordance with required basis of accounting, such as IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP

Maintain Fixed Asset Database and Depreciation Records 10

  • Record Fixed Asset additions & retirements in the financial system

  • Transact monthly Depreciation of Fixed Assets

  • Reconcile Fixed Asset Details to General Ledger, including Construction in Process Account

  • Manage proper Accounting and Reporting of Capitalized Leases

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BBA) in Accounting or Finance or  equivalent work experience

  • Six (6) &43; years within an accounting/finance function

  • Working knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Must have strong analytical and mathematical abilities

  • Ability to use computers, and associated software – MS Office, Google Suite

  • Able to work in US without current or future need for  visa sponsorship

  • < 10 Domestic and International

Preferred Education/Skills:

  • CPA

  • Familiar with Deltek CostPoint

  • Familiar with Major Platform ERP Systems (SAP, Deltek, Others)

Physical Requirements:

  • Onsite: 95
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports daily
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone daily

  • Lifting:  able to lift documents, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs daily
  • Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools several times a week
  • Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer daily
  • Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving several times a month
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices several times a month
  • Travel:  able to travel independently and at short notice once or twice a year
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents):  able to walk through office daily
  • Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.

Salary range:

Salary range based on the required profile: $80,700 - $102,000 per year, depending on experience. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
